Founded in 2001, Ifix Group is a building and renovation company, experienced in residential, commercial and institutional projects.

Supervisor George Anagnostopolous says the team includes more than 200 skilled and experienced tradesmen, capable of handling an average of 10 projects at a time. These combine subcontracting and the company’s own projects, ranging from commercial efforts such as strip mall construction, to supplying expertise in flooring, HVAC and other specialty services and unique custom home building projects.

Also making up the team are deep resources of designers, architects, inspectors and real estate professionals. “We are a full service solution from the ground up and through every stage of a process.”

Anagnostopolous says part of the logic behind such an extensive in-house team is the quality, professionalism and attention to detail that can be ensured. “Right from impeccable design through competitive pricing, clear timelines and craftsmanship that is unparalleled, we are able to provide clients with complete, dedicated and top-notch results.”

In order to ensure this level of quality, he says the team is cherry picked. Particular due diligence is applied to screening and qualifying potential partners. “Our tilers for instance, are designers and specialists in their field.”

While the company is currently focused in the GTA, plans are being made to expand and grow into surrounding areas.

Some of the company’s notable projects include Billy Jax restaurant in Whitby and the Scotia Bank in Markham, which was a challenging renovation involving detailing down to the furniture installation and after-hours work to keep the bank operational for customers.

Anagnostopolous says the team has signed on with DataBid and identified multiple opportunities. “The training and support was exceptional and will open new markets for us. The data system allows us to know who is bidding and who has won, which can open the door to subcontracting opportunities.”
