This project aims to revitalize the existing playground to enhance community engagement and provide a safe, accessible, and inclusive recreational space. Scope of Work: The playground redevelopment includes the removal and replacement of existing play equipment, along with the installation of rubberized protective playground surfacing. Proponents must provide a 3D rendering of the proposed design for Public Consultation. The playground will be installed in proximity to an existing spray pad, which will also be replaced as part of a coordinated redevelopment effort. The successful proponent will be required to collaborate with contractors engaged through the following upcoming RFP/RFT processes:• Spray Pad Site Design RFP – To be issued in March 2025• Spray Pad Equipment Design, Build, and Installation RFP – To be issued in April 2025• Playground and Spray Pad Site Work RFT – To be issued in Summer 2025• The installation of the playground will follow the completion of the site work. Coordination with the awarded site work contractor will be necessary to ensure seamless project execution.
