Mississauga Ninth Line Road Widening

Detail Of Services: Widen Ninth Line to four (4) general purpose lanes, two lanes in each direction, provide an urban road cross-section with boulevard cycle tracks and sidewalks on both sides of the road, provide a 5.0m raised centre median (if applicable) where there are no access impacts to existing side streets or residential properties, provide Accessibility for Ontarians and Disabilities (AODA) compliant intersections (e.g. mixed-use cross-rides for cyclists and pedestrians), pavement rehabilitation of existing Ninth Line corridor, new traffic signals are proposed at Tacc Drive, McDowell Drive, Beacham Street, and Starview Street, new storm sewer (upsizing) and Low Impact Development (LID) facilities, new culvert structure and widening of the Osprey Marsh culvert structure to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists, utility relocations and full roadway illumination, enhanced landscaping features including additional tree plantings in the boulevard and median plantings such as low-lying shrubs, grasses and herbaceous plants (where applicable).
