Hamilton Construction Association donates food and cash

The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) once again collected non-perishable food and cash donations for Hamilton FoodShare. Despite the pandemic, the drive was a great success.

In addition to the collected food we were able to raise just over $2000 for Hamilton Food Share. We are dropping the food and monetary donation off on Friday morning.

Sponsors for the food drive included Aon, Hanson Ready Mix, Mattina Mechanical, Falcon Crane, Hoffer Mechanical and Triple Crown Enterprises.

While the annual Christmas luncheon was cancelled, HHCA member companies were challenged to drop off food or cash donations at the HHCA office and a 12 Days of Giving raffle was held to raise money.

“Every year at our annual Christmas Luncheon at the end of November we hold a food drive and it’s always so successful so we wanted to still do our part and support our community,” said HHCA membership services manager Alana Modi.
