LiUNA Local 1059 supports local community with large donation to Business Cares

The LiUNA team in Western Ontario has donated $20,000 to the Business Cares Food Drive, which is representative of the incredible support that LiUNA has given to the community over the years.

Cares chair Wayne Dunn picked up an incredibly generous donation from LiUNA Local 1059.

“We’ve been humbled by the ongoing support of organizations during these challenging pandemic times,” Dunn said.

“From an overwhelmingly successful Grocery Store weekend to generous donations like we’ve received from LiUNA and other organizations throughout the Forest City, we’ve seen that the greater the need, the greater the response that London businesses, employees, and citizens provide to support the people and organizations that benefit from the London Food Bank.”
