The Niagara Home Builders’ Association (NHBA) celebrated the season with its annual Christmas Celebration and Elimination Draw at the Holiday Inn Convention Centre in St. Catharines, combining festive cheer with charitable giving.

For more than 14 years, the NHBA has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Niagara to support the youth who benefit from the organization’s mentorship programs. This year, NHBA members set a new record with their generosity, donating an abundance of new, unwrapped gifts for children and teens aged 6 to 18.

“We are honoured to continue to assist Big Brothers, Big Sisters year after year through the generosity of our member companies,” said NHBA Chair Kelly Anderson. “This agency is a staple of our community, and we applaud the impact they make for children and families throughout the Niagara Region.”

nhba bbbsNHBA representatives delivered the collection of toys, books, games, and gift cards to the BBBS St. Catharines office, where staff members welcomed the donations. The gifts will be sorted and distributed to children based on age groups, ensuring every youth receives an appropriate and thoughtful gift.

Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. The NHBA’s support underscores the association’s commitment to giving back to the community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of Niagara’s children and youth.
