Six teams submitted proposals before the Request for Proposals (RFP) for teams to submit bids to design, build and finance the Ontario Line South project and to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Ontario Line Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) project closed on June 30.

Following a Request for Qualifications process, teams were shortlisted and invited to respond to the RFP in December 2020.

Shortlisted teams for Ontario Line South:

  • Community Transit Link
  • ON-Linx
  • Ontario Transit Group

For RSSOM work:

  • Connect 6ix
  • ONConnects
  • ONLineLinx

All six teams submitted their proposals prior to the RFP deadline. Submissions will be evaluated and the successful proponents for both projects are expected to be announced in fall 2022. A fairness monitor is overseeing the entire procurement process.
