Safety Design Strategies (SDS) and SafetyCo partners have launched a refreshed Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training program.

Designed to meet updated regulations, the eight-hour course is available across Ontario, including locations in Sault Ste. Marie, Oakville, and Waterloo, to help organizations minimize risk and ensure full compliance.

The updated TDG program is built to align with the evolving demands of transporting hazardous materials across Canada. By providing workers with both regulatory knowledge and practical skills, the training aims to enhance workplace safety and public protection.

The course covers critical aspects of dangerous goods management, including:

  • Classifying dangerous goods
  • Documentation and labeling requirements
  • Means of containment
  • Shipper, carrier, and receiver responsibilities
  • Incident reporting and ERAP requirements
  • Compliance with Canadian TDG Regulations

Flexible delivery options are a major benefit of the refreshed program, allowing businesses to choose the format that best suits their needs.

Participants can enroll in public classroom courses, arrange private corporate sessions, or opt for distance learning.

Public classroom training is hosted at key SafetyCo Partner locations throughout the year, including Barrie, London, Oakville, Ottawa, Sault Ste. Marie, and Waterloo.
