Today, Minister Caroline Mulroney, President of the Treasury Board, announced a tentative four-year agreement reached with the Professional Engineers Government of Ontario (PEGO) bargaining unit.

“Our government is committed to building a prosperous future for Ontario by improving essential infrastructure, including roads, highways, hospitals, and homes,” said Minister Mulroney. “This ambitious plan is key to ensuring Ontario remains one of the most competitive places in the world to live and work. If ratified, this agreement with PEGO will help avoid costly delays to these vital infrastructure projects.”

The proposed deal, which must still be ratified, benefits workers and their families, while reaffirming the government’s dedication to maintaining stability across the public sector. It also ensures the long-term fiscal health of Ontario and recognizes the important contributions of PEGO-represented employees.

“We look forward to sharing further details once the agreement is fully ratified by both parties,” Mulroney added.
