Exterior Surfaces of the multi-leg water tower require the following: Exterior coated services will be full removal by abrasive blasting to achieve a surface cleanliness of SSPC-SP 10 (Near White Blast) with an angular blast profile of 2.0 to 3.0 mils c/w full containment Class 1a c/w 40,000 CFM dust collector or greater depending on level of dust inside the containment. This project requires full negative air to ensure no spent abrasive or dust escapes the containment system. This project has high levels of Lead and the project will be treaded as a Lead Abatement Project meeting the requirements under SSPC Guide 6 under SSPC C3 Training and Guidelines.
