Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has released a series of aerial work platform products including the world’s tallest straight boom, the ZT82J, with a height of 82.3 metres.

The ZT82J marks Zoomlion’s third world record setting straight boom following the 68-metre and 72-metre products. The 82.3-metre AWP offers a platform amplitude of 34.1 metres, a maximum working load of 454 kilograms and a climbing capacity of 35 per cent.

The boom also includes an ultra-long boom composite movement and double-cylinder synergistic control technology, along with 21 safety protection measures, Changsha, China-based Zoomlion said in a press release.

Zoomlion also introduced the ZT51JEH, an extended-range electric straight boom AWP that reaches a working height of 50.6 metres and supports a maximum load of 454 kilograms.

It can operate in either electric or diesel mode for both urban/indoor projects and outdoor working conditions without access to electricity. It can work continuously for more than seven days when fully charged and refuelled.

Zoomlion also introduced intelligent wearable safety equipment, an intelligent AWP management system and a global spare parts shop.

The ZA42J, currently Zoomlion’s largest crank boom AWP, features a spanning height of 24.5 metres and a working height of 44.03 metres. It utilizes multi-stage cylinder telescoping technology, enhancing its reach and versatility, and includes fast lifting and probing functions.

Zoomlion’s telehandlers include seven models in fixed and rotary types, with working heights ranging from 6 to 25 metres and loads from 2.5 to 4.5 tons. The products support multiple attachments, such as forks, buckets, and spreader platforms.
